Thanksgiving

Wow, we have officially made it to December, and I have yet to post since 2 November = bad blogger! It has been a crazy month. We've had a lot of fun, but have also had some not so fun times. Here are some pics from our Thanksgiving week of fun:

We started the week with a little hunting. Daddy/Daughter Hunting! They didn't see anything, but had a good time.

Thanksgiving Day we were honored with having both Craigs' parents and my parents up for lunch. Craig and Brooke worked on the turkey, I cooked my first Dressing, and Juju and Memaw brought other sides.... it was all delicious! Whitney's family came over to spend the afternoon and so the guys could hunt. We had a fun visit.

We spent almost the entire day Friday at the house in our PJ's. I did some online shopping before I went to bed on Thursday night, and wasn't about to attempt to go on early Friday morning. We got our Christmas tree up, relaxed and played outside.

On Saturday, we went to Mathiston for another good lunch and to visit with my family. We made it home just in time for the MSU Egg Bowl Victory!

Sporting our true and not so true maroon! Oh, and Tenley fell in love with one of the baby Beagles at Jeff's. They played together all afternoon. - Too Cute!

Now for the bad:

Craig is down in the back again. We went to Starkville the first weekend in November to tailgate and visit with friends. When he woke up that morning he said his back was bothering, but as the day drug on it got worse. By Sunday morning, he couldn't get out of bed without help. He was confined to the couch for a week, in a ton of pain. He went for an MRI and found out that he has a herniated disk between L3 and L4. Three years ago it was herniated between L4 and L5. He has an appointment on Dec 12 (the soonest appt. he could get) to determine what needs to be done. Please pray for him/us for a quick recovery; we're pretty sure that surgery is the best option.

Hence why I haven't been on the computer lately. I've been toting the kids back and forth to school, and working my normal schedule which makes for a 12+ hour day. By the time I get the girls to bed I have been exhausted. I've ended up crashing on the couch shortly afterwards.
