MSU vs Auburn

For Craig's 31st birthday, we took a trip to Auburn to visit my brothers family and attend the MSU ballgame. We loaded up Friday morning and arrived at Auburn around 3. On our ride over, we only made two stops: 1) at Hardees in Dempolis, AL for lunch (highly NOT recommended), 2) at Prattville, AL for a bathroom break and icee (Tenley's new favorite drink!). Two stops on a 6
hour trip with a 4 year old and a 15 month old isn't too shabby.

We enjoyed our visit with Dale, Kay Dee, and cousin Carrington. Friday night we met Dale at the Football Stadium and visited the MSU locker room. The girls enjoyed running around, asking questions, and getting in the way. I thought Coach Felker and some of the other crew would run us off, but they didn't seem to mind. I wish we had been dressed for the occasion.
Saturday we took Brooke to the game. We witnessed an interesting fly over by the Eagle, and unfortunately a defeat for the Bulldogs. Brooke had a blast though. She got to sing God Blessed America (her words) and danced through the entire halftime performance. All the state fans in our section were cheering for her. She lasted in the stands until about 8 mins left in the 4th quarter and then wanted to get up and roam around. We went to the Auburn coaches family section to sit with Aunt Kay Dee. We finished the game right on the goal line to watch State lose by a few inches.

After the game, we attempted a photo shoot of the girls. We didn't have much success!
Uncle Dale came in and took the night off to visit with us. We went to Toomer's Corner to see the toilet papered tree (an Auburn Tradition), and had dinner at Mellow Mushroom. To quote Brooke "I sure hope this is clean toilet paper!" We got a lot of strange looks, being the only MSU fans playing in the toilet paper.

We enjoyed our visit, but I think Carrington was ready for us to leave. My girls had invaded her space long enough. As you can see, she doesn't like sharing her bath like my girls do!
